.: Company History About Us

Big 4 Motors was started up in 1972.  Its' original location was across from the Stampede grounds and the Big 4 building at 24th Avenue and MacLeod Trail; hence the name "Big 4 Motors".

At the time, Big 4 Motors was the original AMC Jeep franchise.  Over time the dealership also carried Peugeot and Citroen.

Needing more room for its' growing size, Big 4 moved to its' new location at 7330 MacLeod Trail South in 1979.  Shortly after that, Renault took control of AMC Jeep (AMC Jeep Renault).

Eight years later in 1987 Chrysler took over, bringing us where we are today!

As the first Five Star dealership in Calgary, Chrysler recognizes our commitment to excellence and customer service.  Our focus is on giving you the best possible buying and servicing experience.  This commitment is reflected in the amount of customers returning to us and referring their friends and family to see how easy it is to do business with us.  Our commitment is to be your dealership for a lifetime.
